Photographs printed from the original negatives by Gregor Murton
The black and white photographs are quality silver gelatin photographic prints. They are handcrafted with great care from the original negatives and printed onto fibre-based, double weight glossy paper.
These exhibition quality prints are created within a darkroom combining traditional photographic negative enlargement and light projection. By using 'hands on' darkroom techniques and paper chemistry processing methods ensures a high standard of quality and archival permanence. After processing, washing and drying the print is “spotted” to remove inevitable dust specks. Finally each print is re-inspected to ensure it meets the highest professional standard before archival mounting and framing.
A silver gelatin photograph is a unique artwork to be enjoyed and treasured for many generations.
