A philosophy on photography
All good photography begins with your minds eye to imagine, perceive and visualise the world around you. From the technical to the creative numerous decisions are made. Initially it's not important what camera or materials you use but the thoughts and feelings behind the image. Patience is required to discover a telling moment, and a mixture of skill and timing to bring it all together. Photography is a medium in which to express your imagination and ideas.

Monochrome - an alternative vision
The world is saturated with images, where hues dominate and seduce the viewer. Monochrome or black and white offers a different perspective. It challenges you to see the world more abstractly by amplifying elements of design such as shape, line, texture, contrast and tonal range. This is the appeal of monochrome, its simplicity and depth, an alternative vision.
